Fellows benefit from access to the Berenson Library’s extensive collections, the broader Harvard Library system, and a multidisciplinary scholarly community. The program supports advanced research on the Italian Renaissance (14th–17th centuries), including transnational dialogues between Italy and other cultures, and encompasses fields such as art, literature, philosophy, science, and more. Fellows are expected to actively participate in the intellectual life of the center, including seminars, workshops, and cultural excursions, and to present their research in progress.
