    Description

The IASD DEI Dream Research Grant is a continuing funding opportunity within the partnership between the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) and DreamScience Foundation (DSF). Supported by donations to “IASD Diversity,” it aims to diversify dream research by amplifying researchers from ethnic groups underrepresented in the field. The wider partnership provides seed support for students and professionals who might otherwise be unable to pursue their projects.

The program welcomes quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research on dreams and dreaming, including biology and neuroscience, phenomenological and psychological studies, and anthropological and cultural studies. Priorities include value to dream science and the population served, sound research design, ethical considerations, and achievable objectives. Special sponsorships for disciplines such as PTSD or lucidity, or particular populations, are announced in the relevant call.
