The Russell Sage Foundation/Carnegie Corporation Initiative on Immigration and Immigrant Integration funds innovative research examining the impact of race, citizenship, legal status, politics, political culture, and public policy on outcomes for immigrants and the native-born across different racial and ethnic groups and generations in the United States. This initiative is part of RSF’s Race, Ethnicity, and Immigration Program, with a special focus on the social, economic, and cultural integration of immigrants and their children. Research topics of interest include legal status, naturalization, citizenship, civic engagement, ethnic identity, inequality, and the effects of public policy and political culture on immigrant integration.
