This Formas grant supports collaborative, cross-sectoral projects aiming to develop and test new models for valuing and pricing water resources in Sweden. The initiative targets the creation of fair, sustainable, and circular water use models that address future challenges such as climate change, industrial expansion, and infrastructure needs. Projects should propose innovative economic models or incentives that encourage water conservation, resource reuse, pollution reduction, and highlight ecosystem services, ultimately contributing to policy and practice changes for sustainable water management by 2050. This call is part of the Water Wise Societies programme within the Impact Innovation framework.
