    Description

This grant supports projects aimed at establishing a cohesive, decision-relevant system for water budgeting and water accounting across Sweden. The initiative seeks to improve national understanding of water availability, water quality, and actual water use (including withdrawals, returns, and net consumption) at the watershed level. Projects must address methodological development, data infrastructure and IT security, governance roles, and risk and consequence assessments. Funded projects will collaborate closely with the Water Wise Societies program office under the broader Impact Innovation initiative, contributing to the vision of “Sustainable Water for All by 2050.”
