Description
This program, funded by Pfizer Inc. in partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), aims to strengthen precision medicine in community-based prostate cancer care. It provides financial and logistical support for onsite educational programs led by expert Visiting Professors, tailored to address the unique needs of urology and oncology organizations. The curriculum focuses on the science and clinical applications of germline and somatic (tumor and/or ctDNA) testing, patient selection, workflow integration, communication strategies, and overcoming barriers to testing. The initiative encourages collaboration between community practitioners and academic experts, with the goal of closing gaps in care and improving patient outcomes. Awardees will also have opportunities to participate in scientific retreats and share their learnings with the wider clinical community.
