Summary: Supports organizations to host expert-led hemophilia education programs focused on shared decision making and emerging therapies.
This grant supports U.S.-based organizations in hosting a hemophilia-focused medical education program led by a distinguished Visiting Professor, with the aim of improving shared decision making (SDM) and awareness of emerging therapeutic options in hemophilia care. The program is designed to address identified educational gaps and challenges, and to foster enduring improvements in clinician knowledge and patient care. Each selected organization will work with the Hemostasis & Thrombosis Research Society (HTRS) to tailor the two-day program to its unique needs, with the Visiting Professor chosen based on the specific knowledge gaps identified.
