Description

This funding opportunity, offered by the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), seeks to address the pressing need for Tribal communities to improve their ability to identify and respond to emerging drug threats. The project will fund research and a pilot initiative focused on strengthening Tribal drug data systems and/or developing early warning systems for actionable information dissemination. The overarching goal is to reduce overdose deaths in American Indian and Alaska Native populations, who experience drug overdose mortality rates twice the national average. ONDCP will collaborate closely with the awardee, providing guidance and support throughout the project.
