--- ## Description The Infrastructure Capacity for Biological Research (Capacity) Program aims to enhance the infrastructure supporting contemporary biological research across the U.S. The program funds projects that implement, scale, or significantly improve research tools, products, and services that are broadly applicable to the biological sciences. Emphasis is placed on three programmatic areas: Cyberinfrastructure, Biological Collections, and Biological Field Stations and Marine Laboratories. Proposals for planning activities or workshops that facilitate coordination to build infrastructure capacity are also welcomed. Projects must benefit a broad scientific and educational community beyond a single research team and are expected to produce openly accessible resources.
