--- ## Description The Infrastructure Innovation for Biological Research Program supports research aimed at designing novel or greatly improved research tools and methods that advance contemporary biology. The program is open to any research area supported by the NSF Directorate for Biological Sciences and emphasizes infrastructure that is broadly applicable to the biological research community. Projects may focus on bioinformatics, instrumentation, or research methods and are expected to enable significant advances in scientists’ abilities to analyze, manipulate, or measure biological systems.
