--- ## Description This annual grant opportunity, administered by the U.S. Mission to Hungary’s Public Diplomacy Section, funds innovative projects designed and led by alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs. Projects must align with policy goals such as advancing free speech, fostering economic prosperity, or promoting cultural exchange, and should deliver tangible benefits for communities or institutions in Hungary. --- ## Due Dates - **Full application deadline:** May 5, 2026 (no later than 23:59 CET) --- ## Funding Amount - **Award size:** $5,000 to $35,000 per project - **Number of awards:** Up to 2 - **Project duration:** Up to 12 months - **Cost sharing:** Not required --- ## Eligibility - **Who can apply:** - Alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs, with at least two alumni involved per project and a designated team lead. - Alumni associations from countries with U.S. representation (must specify a team lead). - Teams of three or more may include U.S. citizen alumni, but the team must have at least two non-U.S. citizen alumni.
