Description
This grant opportunity, administered by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA), aims to strengthen community-based organizations across Illinois working to prevent violence and enhance public safety. Funding is available for projects that build internal organizational capacity, deliver or expand violence prevention activities, or combine both approaches. In addition to grant funding, organizations will participate in required coaching, technical assistance, professional development, and peer-learning activities to ensure alignment with the Statewide Violence Prevention Plan for Illinois (2025–2029) and to promote long-term sustainability and impact.
