This limited competition opportunity invites applications for the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Centers (IDDRCs). The program supports multidisciplinary research centers that advance the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and amelioration of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Centers are required to facilitate interdisciplinary and translational research through 3–4 core facilities, support at least two and no more than three specific research projects in priority IDD areas, and include robust outreach and engagement with the community, including individuals with lived experience of disabilities. Collaborative projects spanning translational science, biomarker assessment, outcome measures, tool validation, bioinformatics, and therapeutic development are encouraged.
