Description
This program provides funding to support the creation or enhancement of law enforcement agency intellectual property (IP) enforcement task forces. The initiative aims to assist state, local, tribal, and territorial jurisdictions in preventing and reducing intellectual property theft and related crimes. It also supports law enforcement in investigating and prosecuting IP crimes—such as those involving copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets—and in addressing violent crime associated with IP cases both within the United States and abroad.
