Description
The Interdisciplinary Climate and Equity Seed Grant at UC Berkeley is designed to catalyze high-impact, cross-disciplinary research addressing the complex intersections of climate change, environmental justice, and social equity. The initiative encourages the formation of collaborative teams that draw on expertise from the biophysical sciences, energy systems, economics, policy, public health, urban planning, and social sciences. Projects supported by this grant tackle topics such as equitable agrivoltaics, climate-driven extreme events, resilience in Black communities, and integrating equity into flood risk management.
