The Interdisciplinary New Collaborative (INC) Awards are designed to catalyze innovative, cross-disciplinary research collaborations that span the translational research spectrum. These awards support projects integrating basic and clinical research, bringing together investigators from diverse fields (e.g., neurology, engineering, behavioral science, rehabilitation, etc.) to address complex health challenges and improve health outcomes, particularly for Delawareans. Proposals must represent truly new collaborations—no prior funding in the proposed research line by the team—and must involve investigators from at least two different disciplines and ideally multiple ACCEL partner institutions. All projects must include a plan for community engagement and dissemination of findings.
