Supports evidence-based advice and international cooperation to strengthen Europe’s position in the global semiconductor value chain.

--- ## Description This Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action (CSA) funds projects that provide strategic, evidence-based advice and support to the European Commission and EU Member States for joint actions with leading semiconductor nations (e.g., Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, USA, Canada, India). The goal is to reinforce Europe's role in the global semiconductor and photonics technology value chain by mapping supply chains, identifying cooperation opportunities, defining priority research areas for international collaboration, analyzing risks to technological advancement and economic security, and promoting researcher mobility and standardization. Projects are expected to organize joint events, contribute to standardization activities, and ensure complementarity with related EU initiatives. Active coordination with the European Semiconductor Board and synergies with other EU-funded projects (including the Digital Europe Programme and Chips Joint Undertaking) are required. --- ## Due Dates - Call opening: June 10, 2025 - Proposal deadline: October 2, 2025 (17:00 Brussels time) --- ## Funding Amount - Total budget for this topic: €3,000,000 - Expected grant size: around €3,000,000 - Only one grant is expected to be awarded --- ## Eligibility - Proposals must be submitted by a consortium in line with Horizon Europe rules (typically at least three independent legal entities from different EU Member States or Associated Countries). - Eligible countries: EU Member States and countries associated to Horizon Europe (see [Annex B](https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/docs/2021-2027/horizon/wp-call/2025/wp-14-general-annexes_horizon-2025_en.pdf)). - Some non-EU/non-Associated Countries may participate with their own funding.
