The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is launching the next phase of its flagship International Growth Centre (IGC) programme, supporting independent, rigorous research and policy engagement to promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth in low- and middle-income countries. This new phase (Sep 2026–Mar 2029) emphasizes translating research into policy, fostering local partnerships, and implementing innovative, locally-led delivery models. The IGC aims to deliver high-quality, responsive policy support, maintain research excellence, mainstream gender and inclusion, support locally-led policy impact, and work towards long-term financial sustainability.
