This Horizon Europe Innovation Action funds collaborative projects that develop and demonstrate tools, solutions, and business models to advance circular economy principles in the construction sector, spanning from buildings to entire cities. The goal is to reduce life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions, increase resource efficiency, and promote the reuse and recycling of construction materials. Projects are expected to create inventories of reclaimed materials, develop diagnostic tools for used construction products and demolition waste, and foster collaboration among a wide range of stakeholders, including SMEs, building owners, local authorities, and civil society. Demonstration activities must occur in at least three cities from different Member States or Associated Countries, with at least one city participating in the EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities. Knowledge sharing and collaboration with related European initiatives are strongly encouraged to maximize impact and replication.
