Description
The Iowa Arts Council, within the Iowa Economic Development Authority, supports arts and cultural work through several grant programs. Its fiscal year 2027 recipient list includes Art Project Grants for organizations, Artist Professional Grants, the Creative Places Accelerator, Cultural Capacity Building Grants, Cultural Leadership Partners and Program Operating Support, Iowa Artist Fellowships, and a Partnership Grant. Recipients include individual artists and organizations working across visual and performing arts, film, museums, history, and cultural heritage.
The Art Project Grant for Organizations supports arts experiences, arts learning, and arts professional development that demonstrate public value through engagement and access for Iowans. Its Creative Abundance special round is limited to arts programming for Iowa populations with disabilities developed with Creative Abundance Consulting and an Iowa artist.
