    Description

    The Japanese Language Education Assistant Program (J-LEAP) brings native Japanese Assistant Teachers (ATs) to K-12 schools across the United States for up to two years. The program is designed to enhance Japanese language instruction, foster authentic cultural exchange, and provide professional development for U.S.-based lead Japanese language teachers. ATs team-teach with the Lead Teacher (LT), offering students direct exposure to native Japanese speakers and enriching classroom and community engagement. J-LEAP is jointly administered by the Japan Foundation and The Laurasian Institution.
