This two-year fellowship is designed for early-career scholars in family medicine to engage in health policy and science activities at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM). Fellows are assigned to one of several health-related boards, participate in study committees or roundtables, and contribute to reports and other outputs. The program includes mentorship from a senior National Academy of Medicine (NAM) member, attendance at orientation and annual meetings, and exposure to national health policy leaders. The fellowship aims to foster leadership and expand the fellow’s professional and academic trajectory in family medicine and health policy.
