--- ## Description The American Chemical Society's award in physical organic chemistry honors individuals who have made significant and lasting contributions to the discipline. Established in 1963 to commemorate James Flack Norris, the award is presented annually at an ACS meeting and includes a $5,000 cash prize, a certificate, and reimbursement of up to $2,500 in travel expenses to attend the award ceremony.
