Description
This grant program, co-sponsored by the Japanese Headache Society and Pfizer, funds quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing migraine care in Japan. The focus is on projects that foster behavioral changes among healthcare professionals and patients, promote early diagnosis, disseminate specialized knowledge, and develop systems to improve access and outcomes for migraine sufferers. Eligible projects may include educational programs, mechanisms to encourage patients to seek care, collaborations between expert and non-expert providers, support for children and adolescents, and workplace or school-based headache education. Clinical research, including studies evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic or diagnostic agents, is not supported.
