--- ## Description This award recognizes distinguished contributions to the understanding of the chemistry and physics of liquids, encompassing both theoretical and experimental research. Established in 1980 in honor of ACS Past President Joel H. Hildebrand, the award is presented annually by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and aims to highlight excellence in research that advances knowledge in the chemistry of liquids. --- ## Due Dates - **Nomination deadline:** November 1, 2024 (for the 2026 award cycle) - The nomination period typically opens July 1 and closes November 1 each year. - *Nominations for the 2025 cycle are not being accepted due to a lack of funding.
