McGovern Award Lecture in the Behavioral Sciences recognizes outstanding behavioral scientists from around the world for their significant achievements in research, scholarship, mentorship, and leadership. Established in 1990 and endowed by the John P. McGovern Foundation, this award includes an invitation to deliver a distinguished lecture at the AAAS Annual Meeting. The honor highlights the recipient's impact on the field and provides a platform to share insights, accomplishments, and ongoing challenges in behavioral sciences with the broader scientific community. --- ## Due Dates - June 2026: Nomination deadline (anticipated/projected) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - $5,000 honorarium - Commemorative John P.
