Summary: A year-long fellowship for emerging social justice leaders, combining legislative experience in a CBC member's office with research at the CBCF’s Center for Policy Analysis and Research.
The John R. Lewis Social Justice Fellowships, administered by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF), are designed for early-career professionals and emerging leaders dedicated to social justice and public policy. This 12-month, full-time fellowship offers a unique dual experience: fellows spend six months as Legislative Aides in the office of a Congressional Black Caucus Member, followed by six months conducting policy research at the CBCF’s Center for Policy Analysis and Research (CPAR). The program provides hands-on public policy and legislative training, professional development, and opportunities to expand professional networks, all while advancing issues critical to the Black community.
