This award provides an opportunity for U.S. scholars to advance journalism and media education in the Palestinian Territories (West Bank). Scholars may teach, develop curricula, mentor students, assist with faculty and program development, and/or collaborate on research with local colleagues. The program emphasizes journalistic ethics, investigative journalism, media literacy, the business of journalism, digital journalism, and journalism theory and techniques. Engagement with the local academic and broader community—such as public talks and mentorship—is encouraged to foster international cooperation and understanding.
