Description
This opportunity, offered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, seeks Statements of Interest (SOI) for research on juvenile sportfish community composition and habitat suitability in Florida Bay, with a focus on supporting the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). The project aims to continue and expand long-term monitoring of juvenile sportfish (especially spotted seatrout) and seagrass meadows to assess ecosystem responses to restoration activities, changes in hydrology, and habitat management. The data generated will directly inform ecosystem restoration progress and benefit both the scientific community and public stakeholders.
