    Description

Kalamazoo Rx Kids is a citywide cash support initiative for pregnant people and families with newborns residing in the City of Kalamazoo. The program provides unconditional, no-strings-attached cash payments to help reduce financial burdens during pregnancy and a child’s first year. The goal is to empower families to make choices that best fit their needs during this critical developmental period, with the broader aim of improving health, well-being, and opportunity for new parents and infants in the community. The program is managed locally by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation and is part of a broader collaborative effort with Michigan State University, University of Michigan, and several local partners.
