The scholarship honors the legacy of Rev. Dr. Katie Geneva Cannon by supporting women of color and other women within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in their leadership, spiritual, and mission development. The goal is to empower recipients to continue Dr. Cannon’s transformative work in ministry, mission, and the broader community. Funding is provided for activities that foster growth, engagement, and leadership among women in the denomination.
