The Kenneth W. Russell Fellowship, administered by the American Center of Research (ACOR), is designed to support students and research in archaeology and cultural heritage through a unique two-year rotating cycle. In one year, the fellowship provides education assistance to a Jordanian student enrolled in an archaeology or cultural heritage degree program in any country. In the alternate year, it funds a non-Jordanian graduate student to travel to Jordan for fieldwork or research as part of an ACOR-approved archaeological research project. Additionally, the fellowship offers annual prizes and certificates for top tawjihi (secondary school) finalists from Umm Sayhoun, supporting Bedul education.
