Kentucky Proud Promotional Grant supports Kentucky Proud members’ advertising, marketing, and point-of-purchase promotion of farm-linked products to raise awareness and strengthen Kentucky farm profitability.

Description
The Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s Office of Agricultural Marketing administers this program to help Kentucky Proud members expand their marketing exposure, increase awareness of Kentucky Proud, and improve the profitability of Kentucky-grown agricultural products. It supports advertising, marketing, and efforts to reach consumers at the point of purchase when the promoted products have a direct impact on Kentucky farms.
Direct Kentucky farm impact is the value of agricultural products bought, sold, grown, raised, produced, or sourced from Kentucky farms before processing—not the value of the finished retail product. The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board provides tobacco settlement funds to the department to support the Kentucky Proud program.
