This funding opportunity invites applications to serve as Tissue Interrogation Sites (TIS) within the Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP). Selected sites will analyze human kidney tissue, collaborating with Recruitment Sites, the Kidney Tissue Atlas Coordinating Center, and a Central Hub. The primary goals are to obtain and evaluate kidney biopsies from participants with acute kidney injury (AKI) or chronic kidney disease (CKD), develop a comprehensive Kidney Tissue Atlas, define disease subgroups, and identify key cells, interstitial components, pathways, and therapeutic targets to advance the understanding and treatment of kidney diseases.
