The Kluge Fellowships support advanced research in the humanities and social sciences that makes substantive use of the Library of Congress’s extensive collections. The program welcomes interdisciplinary and cross-cultural projects and is open to scholars from a broad array of fields, including architecture and law. Fellows are provided with workspace at the historic Jefferson Building and access to specialized staff and the intellectual community of Washington, DC. The fellowship is designed to foster innovative research that addresses contemporary challenges and advances knowledge in the field.
