The John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship offers graduate students a unique, one-year, paid educational and professional experience in Washington, D.C. Fellows are placed in executive or legislative branch offices of the federal government, where they engage directly with national policy issues related to ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources. The program is designed to foster future leaders in marine and coastal policy by providing firsthand exposure to the policy-making process, networking opportunities, and professional development.
