The Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship offers graduate students a unique, year-long professional experience in Washington, D.C., placing them in either the legislative or executive branch of the federal government to work on national policy issues related to aquatic resources. Fellows contribute directly to the development and management of policy affecting ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources, gaining hands-on exposure to federal policy-making and public service. The fellowship is designed to foster the next generation of leaders in marine and environmental policy.
