--- ## Description This grant supports activities that promote research and innovation (R&I) for sustainable road transport within the EU and globally. The focus is on expanding participation in EU road transport initiatives, identifying research needs and barriers, and proposing actions to strengthen European competitiveness in the sector. The grant aims to foster knowledge sharing, increase stakeholder engagement, and disseminate EU-funded research outcomes—especially those aligned with the European Green Deal, digital strategy, and road safety objectives. Key activities include: - Organizing at least four events or workshops to present and discuss technology needs and research trends. - Supporting annual Road Transport Research Conferences co-organized by the European Commission and key partnerships. - Encouraging capacity building, education, and standardization initiatives. - Facilitating international cooperation, including with the US and emerging economies, and analyzing successful electromobility projects for replication.
