--- ## Description The LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund was a rapid-response initiative led by the Getty Foundation and a coalition of major arts organizations, philanthropists, and local partners. Established in January 2025 following the devastating Eaton and Palisades wildfires, the Fund aimed to deliver emergency financial support to artists and art workers who suffered losses to their residences, studios, or workspaces. The program was administered by the Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) and ultimately distributed $14.3 million to over 1,700 individuals across all artistic disciplines. The Fund prioritized applicants who lost homes (with or without insurance) and those who lost uninsured studios or workspaces, providing most recipients with the full amount they requested, up to $10,000. --- ## Due Dates - Application period: January 20, 2025 (9 a.m. PT) – February 18, 2025 (5 p.m. PT) - Notifications: February 25, 2025 *All application windows are now closed.
