--- ## Description The LA Arts Recovery Fund was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to help small and midsized nonprofit arts organizations in Los Angeles County recover, rebuild, and reimagine their futures. Initiated by the Getty Foundation and administered by the California Community Foundation, the Fund prioritized organizations with annual operating budgets of $10 million or less, with a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The program provided substantial, flexible operating support for two to three years, enabling grantees to survive financial hardships, strengthen operations, and continue serving as cultural anchors in their communities.
