Language Legacies is a grant program of the Endangered Language Fund designed to support projects that document, revitalize, and sustain endangered languages worldwide. The program welcomes proposals from both community members and researchers, regardless of academic credentials, provided applicants can demonstrate the capacity to achieve their project goals. Projects may include language documentation, revitalization, preservation, or archiving initiatives. The program is distinct from ELF’s Native Voices Endowment and is open to applicants not eligible for that program, supporting a broad spectrum of language preservation efforts globally.
