Description
This grant opportunity, offered by the Office of Minority Health under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, funds demonstration projects to support and evaluate the use of a universal symbol indicating the availability of language assistance services in healthcare settings. The initiative aims to improve access to healthcare for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) and those with communication disabilities by raising awareness and prompting requests for language assistance.
