--- ## Description The Latin American Women in Chemistry Awards honor women scientists from Latin America and the Caribbean who have made significant contributions to chemistry and related sciences. The program awards three categories: Emerging Leader, Leadership in Industry, and Leadership in Academia. Winners are selected by a panel composed of representatives from the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Latin American Federation of Chemical Associations (FLAQ). Each awardee receives a cash prize, ACS membership, a CAS SciFinder ID, and additional recognition.
