Description
This program, administered by the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), funds projects that provide legal assistance to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The goal is to increase access to legal services for victims seeking relief in legal matters arising from abuse or violence. Eligible projects must include organizations with a mission and demonstrated history of providing direct services to these victims. The program supports both established legal assistance providers and organizations seeking to expand or initiate in-house legal services (including through the Expanding Legal Services Initiative).
