Description
This program funds nonprofit and tribal organizations, educational institutions, and certain publicly funded entities to increase access to legal assistance for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The grant supports projects that deliver direct legal services, foster partnerships between legal and victim service providers, and expand legal representation, particularly for underserved populations. The program also includes a special initiative (ELSI) to help organizations establish new legal departments for victim representation.
