Description
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide legal support for the Columbia Basin Water Transactions Program (CBWTP). The selected contractor will conduct legal review and due diligence for water transaction proposals, participate as a water rights law expert on the Technical Advisory Committee, provide feedback on legal risks or issues, and advise NFWF on program strategies and improvements. The aim is to ensure that water transactions are legally sound and compliant with program requirements, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of instream flow restoration efforts in the Columbia Basin. The contract is anticipated to run until September 30, 2027, with potential for annual extensions.
