The Leonard A. Lauder Non-Residential Doctoral Dissertation Completion Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for PhD students in the final stages of writing their dissertation on modern art to focus on research and writing, while engaging virtually with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Research Center for Modern Art. Fellows participate in online writing workshops, works-in-progress seminars, and monthly meetings with the Head of Center, and contribute to the Modern Art Index Project. The fellowship is designed for those who cannot be in residence at The Met and is open to candidates globally.
