This opportunity, offered by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), funds eligible state agencies to strengthen or expand statewide systems of accessible, community-based respite care for family caregivers. The program targets both states new to the Lifespan Respite Care Program and those aiming to enhance or re-establish their core respite infrastructure. The goal is to improve access, coordination, and quality of respite services for caregivers of individuals of any age, disability, or chronic condition, thereby supporting family caregivers and enabling community living for care recipients.
