Description
The Livestock Enteric Methane Emission Reduction Research Program (LEMER-RP) is an initiative from the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), aiming to fund practical, science-based research and demonstration projects that reduce methane emissions from enteric fermentation in California’s dairy and livestock sectors. The program’s overarching goal is to help the state meet its legislated target of reducing methane emissions to 40% below 2013 levels by 2030 (SB 1383).
