    Description

    The Local Food Promotion Program (LFPP), administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, provides funding to support the development, coordination, and expansion of local and regional food business enterprises. These enterprises must function as intermediaries in indirect producer-to-consumer marketing, aiming to improve access to and availability of locally and regionally produced agricultural products. The program funds planning, implementation, and turnkey projects that build infrastructure, develop business plans, expand marketing, and strengthen local food systems.
