Description
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) seeks an organization to provide logistical, operational, and technical support to the Government of Honduras under the Central America Regional Security Initiative. The cooperative agreement aims to strengthen Honduran institutions’ ability to prevent, investigate, and prosecute serious crime, particularly narcotics trafficking, corruption, and transnational organized crime.
The recipient will coordinate INL-sponsored training, professional development, travel, procurement, and support for law-enforcement operations. Work also includes coordinating maintenance and tracking for vehicles and motorcycles used by INL-supported units. Beneficiaries include Honduran law-enforcement personnel, prosecutors, judges, other justice-sector actors, and third-country national advisors. Recipient staff will not participate directly in tactical or law-enforcement operations.
